Fitted Sheet Simulator
Virtual Reality application
2018

Fitted Sheet simulator is a room-scale virtual reality application where users perform virtual housekeeping. The project explores the expanding use of automation in labour and the use of virtual reality simulations for job training.

Fitted Sheet Simulator was initially developed as a room-scale VR application for performance during a residency at the ACE Hotel (Chicago) in October 2018. The project was inspired by, and developed concurrently with Chicago's first citywide hotel workers strike.

Currently in development for public release. Images are taken from the October 2018 prototype and performance. You can follow the project here to be notified when it is released.
